THE SEVEN POINT AGENDA AND VISION 20;2020
Dear Readers,
THE SEVEN POINT AGENDA AND VISION 20;2020
Having completed the introductory series of the 7 Point Agenda and its Key Elements, our next undertaking is to review the 2010 appropriation act vis-a-vis its policy direction, implementation strategies, the role of the key elements as the template for implementing the 7 Point Agenda and meeting the goals set out for vision 20;20020.
Our team will monitor the provisions of the 2010 appropriation act and provide insightful analysis in a format that will make it possible for " ordinary Nigerians" to appreciate , while not disregarding the perspectives objectives. Our goal is to provide enough information about the budget to enable Nigerians of all walks of life take ownership of the processes and mechanisms of its successful implementation.
We must embrace individual responsibility and leave behind the mindset that government can and must "do it all". Government on one hand must make efforts to make more information regarding it's policies and objectives available in the public domain.
Knowledge is power!

The 7 Point Agenda is one of the many ways government tries to distract Nigerians from the realities of their daily suffering, it's at best a huge circus. I'll advise your times are employed for more realistic ventures.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Federal Government is made to understand they owe Nigerians a duty to be more open and forthcoming with information regarding their affairs and how it affects the populace.
ReplyDeleteThis is good, I hope it will stand the test of time
ReplyDeleteIf this is another attempt at "Rebranding", another attempt to whitewash the inertia that has taken root in this government, then this noble effort is still-born. Anything outside those lines is long overdue.
