STAKEHOLDERS WORKSHOP ON ENHANCING POSITIVE ENGAGEMENT OF NON-STATE ACTORS IN ACTUALIZING THE 7-POINT AGENDA AND VISION 20,2020

The stakeholders workshop held as scheduled between Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th November 2009. It was a huge success with over sixty Non-governmental organisations in representation. We would provide a detailed report of the objectives and action plan agreed on by the participating Non-governmental organisations.

    EVENTS OF THIS KIND USUALLY COME UP WITH A COMMUNIQUE. WHICH INFORMS INTERESTED PARTIES AND INDIVIDUALS OF DELIBERATIONS AND FUTURE PLANS, OR IS THIS OF THE USUAL NIGERIAN "ABRACADABRA"

    Dear Miadoh,
    We are sorry we could not respond to your comment earlier. Yes, an official communique for the event has been released; the delay in our response was occassioned by our quest to obtain the official document from the event organisers, The Office of the SA to the President on Relation with Civil Society but our efforts have not met with success. We had hoped our publishing the communique would provide a practical address to your concern. However, rest assured we would obtain and publish the said communique as soon as the Christmas holidays are over.
